Frequently Asked Questions

What is capacity tracking?

Capacity tracking is a way to log how you're doing each day using three states: Resourced (green), Stretched (yellow), or Depleted (red). It takes under 30 seconds. Over time, Orbital reveals your personal patterns — weekly rhythms, seasonal trends, and capacity trajectories.

It's not a mood tracker. It's a functional capacity tracker — designed for people whose energy, focus, and ability fluctuate in meaningful ways.

How does the CCI work?

The Capacity Credential Index (CCI) is a quarterly PDF report generated from 90 days of continuous capacity signals. It synthesizes your data into trend charts, weekly patterns, stability scores, and capacity trajectories.

You need at least 90 days of logged signals to generate your first CCI. Once eligible, you can purchase the report from the app. CCI reports are downloadable PDFs you can keep, print, or share with a healthcare provider.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Orbital → Cancel Subscription.

Android: Open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Orbital → Cancel.

Web (Stripe): If you subscribed via the website, email contact@orbitalhealth.app and we'll process the cancellation immediately. Or use the Customer Portal link in your receipt email.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings → Export Data in the app. You can export as JSON (for developers) or CSV (for spreadsheets). The export includes all your capacity signals, tags, notes, and timestamps. Your data is always yours to take with you.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account in the app. This permanently deletes all your data from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your device is deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.

You can also email privacy@orbitalhealth.app to request deletion.

What does the 90-day requirement mean?

The CCI requires 90 days of capacity signals because shorter time periods don't reveal meaningful longitudinal patterns. The 90-day threshold is the minimum needed to generate statistically meaningful trend analysis, weekly rhythm detection, and stability scoring.

You don't need to log every day — but the more consistently you log, the more accurate your CCI will be.

Is Orbital a medical device?

No. Orbital is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All data is self-reported and subjective. Pattern analysis features identify trends in self-reported data only and do not predict health outcomes. If you have concerns about your health, consult qualified healthcare providers.

What are Circles?

Circles let you share your current capacity state with up to 25 trusted people — family, close friends, or care supporters. Every member must explicitly consent to join. Signals are visible for 90 minutes and then expire. No one can see your historical data or patterns through Circles.

I have a promo code. How do I redeem it?

Go to Settings → Redeem Code in the app and enter your code. The entitlement will be applied immediately. If you have issues, email contact@orbitalhealth.app with your code and account email.
